  • 2017 – 2018

    A New Path for Hong Seh Motors

    March 2017 – 3 days of media and private preview of the Asia premiere of the Pershing 5X, Ferretti Yachts 700 and Ferretti Yachts 450.

    March 2017 – Pershing X Lamborghini - by invitation only event held at ONE°15 Marina boaters Bar, displaying a Lamborghini and a Pershing 5X.

    April 2017 – Hong Seh and Ferretti Group join forces to become one of the exhibitor with the largest display of yachts at the show. Showcasing a total of 8 new yachts and 5 Asia premieres. An exclusive private cocktail – by invitation only, was also held through out the show, with invites extended to super car, super yachts owners and high net worth individuals.

    June 2017 – Hong Seh secured Ferretti Yachts 850.

    July 2017 – A cruise fish dive convoy event to Tioman Island, Malaysia. A remarkable experience for the boat owners being able to hook the sail fish, discovering beautiful islands and enjoying good food.

    August 2017 – A unique sundown evening with Rolls-Royce Dawn Drophead Coupe and a slow cruise onboard a Riva yacht. 50 Rolls-Royce owners attended the intimate sit down dinner event.

    October 2017 – Participated at the Singapore Rendezvous event held in Raffles Marina, with a display of the Ferretti Yachts 700.

    October 2017 – Hong Seh X Cortina Watch, an intimate and exclusive unveiling of Hautlence Vortex Gamma set in a private and opulent location on an islet and introducing luxury yachting lifestyle. A five course bespoke dinner prepared by Michelin Star Chef, Stephan Zoisl using modern technique. A truly bespoke experience for the guests.

    November 2017 – Hong Seh secured Ferretti Yachts 700 and Ferretti Yachts 550.

  • 2016

    April 2016 – Hong Seh participated at the Singapore Yacht Show held in ONE°15 Marina Club with debut of the Cranchi Eco Trawler 43 LD.

    April 2016 – Press conference media event held during the Singapore Yacht Show at the booth attended by 35 media representative from 30 publications.

    April 2016 – Hosted an exclusive private cocktail event, a collaboration with United Overseas Bank, inviting their top tier private wealth banking clients during the Singapore Yacht Show.

    October 2016 – The largest cruise convoy to ‘Sail Karimata Indonesia’, supporting the Bintan Toursim Government. Over 92 yachts joined the mega event. Hong Seh is honoured to be appointed by the Ministry of Tourism to co-organise this yearly festival.

    Hong Seh secured the Cranchi Z35 and the Boston Whaler 370 Outrage.

    December 2016 – Achievement for 2016, Hong Seh sold the Riva 110.

    December 2016 – Hong Seh participated at the Thailand Yacht Show held in Ao Por Marina Phuket, under brokerage showcasing the Viking 50 and Everglades 335 CCX. A media sea trial involving various representatives from Phuket, Indonesia and Singapore to the islands of Phuket. During the show, Hong Seh secured the sale of the Everglades 335 CCX.

  • 2015

    January 2015 – Maserati has a New Home in Singapore in the automotive belt at 19 Leng Kee Road.

    February 2015 – A good start for 2015, Hong Seh closed the deal for Riva 88 Domino Super.

    February 2015 – A soft launch of the Ferretti 690 event, celebrating the luxury and lifestyle and showcasing the Maserati Ghibli at the Boaters Bar in ONE°15 Marina with canapes, wines and live performance.

    March 2015 – Press and Media Preview was held at Bar Nebula in ONE°15 Marina, for a media first hand look and sea trial of the Ferretti 690 before the Singapore Yacht Show.

    April 2015 – Ferretti Yacht 690 makes it debut in Singapore Yacht Show 2015. Media interviews with Mr Alberto Galassi.

    November 2015 – Hong Seh secured the sale of the Cranchi Eco Trawler 43 LD.

    August 2015 – Hong Seh participated at the Indonesia Yacht Show, held in Batavia Marina, Jakarta, showcasing the Indonesia debut of the Cranchi Eco Trawler 53 LD.

  • 2014

    2014 – Hong Seh secured sale of Cranchi Atlantique 43 Fly, Cranchi 40 Fly, Cranchi 54 Fly and Cranchi Eco Trawler 53 LD.

    Hong Seh acquired new strategic location for marine at ONE 15 Marina Sentosa Cove.

    Participated in the Singapore Yacht Show 2014 displaying the Asian debut of Pershing 64, Cranchi 54 Fly and Cranchi Atlantique 40 Fly.

    April 2014 – Maserati Ghibli 330 Singapore Premier & celebration of Maserati 100 Years Anniversary.

    September 2014 – “Style seduces technology”, a collaboration event with Ermenegildo Zegna showcasing their latest fashion edition onboard and a slow cruise with the Pershing 64 along Marina Bay waters.

    October 2014 – An event collaboration between Luxe Living Club, Cathay Pacific and City Developments at the Residences at W Singapore for the Sentosa Cove residents to introduce the luxury lifestyle.

  • 2013

    Hong Seh was appointed as its authorised dealer in Singapore for Ferretti Yachts and Pershing by Ferretti Group in additions to Riva brand.

    March – Launch of Maserati Quattroporte GTS at Shangri-La Hotel with a total of 530 guests for a sit-down dinner as along as over 50 Maserati cars lined the driveway of the hotel. Maserati’s concept of the high performance luxury saloon is one of the fastest four-door production sedans of its time.

    September – Hong Seh concluded a deal of Riva 63 Virtus.

    Hong Seh Marine Secured sale of Riva Virtus 63’ and Cranchi Atlantique 40 Fly. Participated at the Singapore Yacht Show 2013 at One°15 Marina Club and the Asian Premiere of the Riva 75 Venere Super. During the show, Hong Seh was awarded Best Asian Premier Vessel for Riva 75 Venere by HELM Singapore.

    June – Cruise event to Pulau Aur was organize with boat owners to discover new boating ground while enjoying a BBQ at their comfort and own private chef onboard.

    July – Launch of Maserati Ghibli S at Ritz Carlton Hotel with a total of more than 700 guests at the cocktail event. The event saw many turn up for the highly anticipated launch of Maserati Ghibli which has been designed for everyday driving and enjoyment; creating a rewarding experience.

    October – Maserati Soldini Yacht Media Event held in Keppel Bay Marina attended by 29 media representative from 17 publications.

    October – Organised a cruise convoy event with existing boat owners to Desaru, Malaysia, for the nautical experience.

    October – Hong Seh is awarded by Maserati SpA the Best After-Sales Commercial Performance in the South East Asia Pacific Region.

    April 2012 – Exhibited at Singapore Yacht Show 2012 in One Degree 15 Marina Club. Viewing and introduction of SportRiva 56 was done exclusively, one group at a time with video display shown accompanied by brochure and thoroughly introduced Riva and Ferretti Group.

    April 2012 – Hong Seh secured the deal of Riva 75 Venere after the closure of Singapore Yacht Show 2012.

    May 2012 – Hong Seh secured the sale of the first in Asia, Riva Aquariva Gucci, a model customized by Gucci.

    July 2012 – Maserati Luxury Lifestyle Experience. The first ever Maserati Luxury Lifestyle Experience gave the journalists and customers from the region an opportunity to get behind the wheel of several of Maserati’s finest vehicles, followed by a cruise around the Southern Islands on board the Sunseeker Predator 62 Motor Yacht, a meal at Capella and Forlino with some of the regional Maserati management team, and top it all with a spa treatment at the Auriga Spa.

    July 2012 – Launched of GranTurismo Sport at Shangri-La Hotel with a total guests of 500 for a sit-down dinner. Maserati’s latest version of the coupé and offers increased performance and an elegant sporty restyling. The vehicle has a huge personality, developed to satisfy the marque’s most demanding clients.

    April 2009 – Hong Seh participated at the Boat Asia in Marina at Keppel Bay with debut of Riva SportsRiva 56.

    2010 – Hong Seh secured Maritimo 52.

    2011 – Hong Seh secured Cranchi 64HT.

    February 2011 – The GranTurismo MC Stradale was launched at Procacci, One Fullerton Bay with a nice backgorund of the Marina Bay Sands whereby guests were served with canapés. The GranTurismo MC Stradale is the fastest, lightest and most powerful car in the Maserati model line-up. Inspired by the Trofeo GranTurismo MC and the racewinning GT4 motorsport programs.

    June 2011 – Hong Seh Gourmet and driving tour to Italy organised by Mr Alfred & Edward Tan for Maserati owners and friends enjoying the best of scenes, food & wines in Italy.

    July 2011 – The GranCabrio Sport characterized by a morepronounced dynamic look was launched at Shangri-La Hotel with invited guests of 500 for a sit-down dinner.

  • 2008

    March – The Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S, with a newly improved braking system is launched at Prive Gastro Bar, Keppel Marina.

    April – Riva Yachts announced Hong Seh as its authorised dealer in Singapore. This was announced at Boat Asia 2008 held at the Keppel Marina Club, where a dedicated 36 square metre Riva booth featured the 75 Venere boat model and expressions of the Italian luxury brand. Hong Seh was awarded best Riva booth & 68’ Ego Super Private test in APAC 2008.

    June – The Maserati GranTurismo S was launched at the Maserati city showroom where this sport version of the GranTurismo, featuring the new 440 HP V8 4.7 engine, is showcased to an audience of 120 guests.

    September – The first in Asia launch of the Ferrari California was held 3 days before the inaugural Formula 1 night race in Singapore, a week ahead of its worldwide premier at the Paris Motorshow 2008. An 8-course Italian themed Gala Dinner was prepared for the Ferrari owners, while a 15 piece big band entertained for the night. That evening saw the largest gathering of Ferrari cars in one location in Singapore with over 100 Ferraris lined up along the entire driveway as well as the carpark. The highlight of the evening included special guest appearances by Ferrari Formula 1 drivers Mr Kimi Raikkonen and Mr Felipe Massa.

    December – Hong Seh’s 40th Anniversary A stunning display of brands such as Maserati, Ferrari, Riva and other range of boats that Hong Seh group is carrying had been specially put together at the F1 Pit Building. Guests were subjected to a S$5.00 donation to MILK (Mainly I Love Kids) Fund for entry – 100% of the proceeds were given to the charity.

  • 2007

    February – The Ferrari 60th Anniversary was an occasion that was kicked off with a convoy of over 50 Ferrari cars being driven down the central business district, making a final stop at the Fullerton Hotel where the ceremony and celebrations began. There were special appearances by the Italian Embassador His Excellency Mr Folco de Luca Gabrielli as well as Mr Marco Mattiaci, Managing Director of Ferrari Asia Pacific. The 2nd day of celebrations saw the convoy driving up to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where the Ferrari 60th Anniversary baton was handed over from Singapore.

    July – An exclusive launch of the latest Maserati model at the newly opened luxury lifestyle marina One°15 Marina Club. Guests were treated to free flowing bubbly and wines before the coupe was unveiled in style to the many who had been awaiting the presentation of the car.

    July – The new Maserati city showroom at Waterfront Plaza was launched with the presence of Maserati S.p.A. CEO Mr Roberto Ronchi, bringing the Maserati brand closer to its targeted audience. The Maserati GranTurismo was launched with an attendance of over 300 guests at Oneo15 Marina Club on that same night.

    September – A sit-down private dinner party was held to showcase pictures of the limited edition Ferrari 430 Scuderia before the physical arrival of the coupe. Guests were treated to an 8-course degustation menu especially prepared for that night, paired with Taittinger Rose.

    Official Distributor for Maserati

    In 1997, Executive Director, Mr Edward Tan, joined the Hong Seh Group of Companies.

    April 1999 – Hong Seh Motors was appointed as the official Maserati importer in Singapore, when the marque was brought under the Fiat Group of Companies. The first Maserati car that was launched was the 3200GT.

    February 2000 – The first Maserati 3200GT was registered.

    2002 – The Maserati 4200GT was launched at The Beaufort Singapore, now known as, The Sentosa.

    November 2003 – The Maserati Quattroporte Duo Select was launched at The Raffles Hotel.

    July 2004 – The Maserati GranSport was launched at The Thumper, Goodwood Park Hotel.

    July 2005 – The Maserati MC12 was launched at Sentosa Cove.

    November – The Jurong Showroom Opening Ceremony was graced by Ferrari President, Mr Luca di Montezemolo. The Ferrari 550 Maranello was launched on the same night at the Shangri-La Hotel Ballroom.

    Official Distributor for Ferrari

    April 1983 – Maranello Concessionaire, worldwide distributor for Ferrai right hand drive cars, appointed Hong Seh Motors as official Ferrari distributor for Singapore. The first Ferrari showroom was housed at Hock Soon Building along Upper Bukit Timah Road. Hong Seh Motors delivered its first car, a Ferrari Mondial, in December 1983.

    1992 – Hong Seh Motors signs an agreement directly with the factory, Ferrari S.p.A., as Official Ferrari Distributor. More than 20 Ferrari F40s were imported into Singapore.

    August – Hong Seh Motors was officially incorporated under the Group and secured the National Car Rental business franchise.

    September – The Jurong site, No. 10 Fourth Lok Yang Road was acquired, while the headquarters for the Group remained in Beach Road.

    New Beginnings for Hong Seh

    Mr Alfred Tan joins the Company, dealing with paints, thinners, Henkel washing products & detergents.

    December – Hong Seh Company Private Limited was incorporated, expanding into industrial chemicals such as polyethylene and polystyrene, and plastics.

    Chop Hong Seh

    Chop Hong Seh was founded by the grandfather and late father of current Managing Director, Mr Alfred Tan. His late father, Mr Tan Theng Hern, was in charge of the company at a tender age of 17. The registered office was at 177 & 179 Beach Road, opposite the current ‘The Gateway’ building. Hong Seh started with building materials such as nails, wire mesh, corrugated zinc roofing, ropes, fishing hooks, nets and fishing lines. Later on, car polishes, automotive paints and thinners were added to its product lines.
